Dexcon Labs builds custom technology for a small portfolio of clients and partners. This page explains what data we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. The only data we routinely receive from this site is:
- Information you send us directly: name, email, and message content when you contact us through [email protected].
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, and the page you requested) kept for 30 days for security and debugging.
- Aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics about how visitors move through the site (see §6).
We do not run advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party social pixels on this site.
How we use it
Information sent to us via email is used only to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to evaluate a potential engagement. Server logs and analytics are used to operate the site, diagnose problems, and understand which content is useful.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information under any circumstances.
Sharing and disclosure
Limited information is shared with vendors that help us run the business: email, hosting, and analytics providers. Each operates under a written data processing agreement and may not use the data for any other purpose.
We will disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dexcon Labs, our clients, or the public.
Data retention
Inquiry emails are retained for as long as is reasonably useful for the relationship, typically the lifetime of an engagement plus seven years for tax and audit purposes. Server logs are purged after 30 days. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form indefinitely.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a single first-party cookie to remember your preference for the dark interface. We use a privacy-preserving analytics provider that does not set cookies or collect personally-identifying information.
Security
Data in transit is protected with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard ciphers. Access to client information is restricted to the people who need it to do the work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email to active clients. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
